Tootsie Roll is a truly special girl with a gentle warmth in her eyes that melts hearts. She’s a 60 lb, 8-year-old pittie mix who doesn’t demand attention but easily draws you in with her quiet, steady presence. She’s affectionate in a genuine, unforced way, happy to curl up beside you, lean into you, or even believe she’s a lap dog, especially if blankets are involved! Tootsie enjoys a slower pace of life, preferring short walks and taking time to sniff everything. She's non-reactive in public, enjoys visiting coffee shops, and settles beautifully at your feet. She’s also fully potty trained, crate trained, and respectful of her space, meaning no sneaky chewing or chaos – just a well-mannered companion.
Ideal Home
Tootsie would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, slower pace. She enjoys having a yard to explore and sunbathe in, but be aware of her passion for chasing lizards! She coexists beautifully with other dogs and would enjoy a calm, respectful dog friend, but people are her favorite, and she doesn't need another dog to feel complete.

Training & Support
Tootsie is wonderfully mannered, affectionate, and understands how to live in a home. She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and respectful of space. She settles beautifully, sleeps quietly through the night, and can be left home for a few hours without fuss. Tootsie already knows a handful of commands like sit, down, paw, and wait, and she takes treats gently. She rides wonderfully in the car and transitions easily between activity and rest.
