LENA

Lena is a delightful 1-year-old, petite pit bull terrier, weighing in at a lovely 42lbs. Her early life was spent mostly in a crate, so she's already a pro at crate comfort and won't need any training in that area! Now, Lena is blossoming as she learns what it's like to be a dog outside her crate. Her foster mom shares that Lena has discovered the world isn't so scary after all. She absolutely adores a game of fetch and loves to snuggle with her foster mom. Lena is equally happy to have zoomies in the yard chasing balls or to curl up for a movie. Because she's still getting used to the world being a safe place, Lena would thrive with a patient guardian who understands she sometimes needs slow introductions to new people and places.

Ideal Home

Lena would prefer a home without young children, not because she would ever hurt them, but because they might be a bit too overwhelming for her as she continues to gain confidence.

Ongoing Health

Lena is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lena is a quick learner and enjoys both active play and quiet cuddle time. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats and can be tested with your resident dog or cat if you are interested. Please note that resident cats should be dog-savvy.
