Clark - URGENT - Seeking Foster/Adopter

Clark is a 5-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a sweet, affectionate nature and a deep bond with his person. Rescued as a puppy from the side of the road in Texas, he's been through a lot. While he has so much love to give, he can become fearful and anxious when pushed beyond his comfort zone or placed in situations where he doesn't feel safe. Clark is fully vetted and neutered, and has completed professional training, but he still needs a very specific environment to truly thrive. He is not a dog for every home, but for the right person, he will be a deeply loyal and loving companion. He just needs someone willing to meet him where he is.

Ideal Home

Clark would thrive in an adult-only, calm household with an experienced owner. A low-traffic, predictable environment is ideal for him. He would do best as an only dog or with a very compatible dog, provided introductions are made slowly. He cannot live in a home with cats.

Clark is fully vetted and neutered.

Training & Support

Clark has completed professional training. He needs an owner who is willing to meet him where he is and understand his needs when he feels anxious.
