Maggie Flowers is a vibrant, approximately 6-year-old pittie mix, weighing around 50lbs, who approaches life with boundless enthusiasm and a contagious joy for everything. Her foster lovingly calls her daily "happy dances" a highlight, and it's easy to see why this girl would make life an adventure. Maggie adores being outdoors, whether it's exploring the yard, chasing squirrels with hilarious determination, playing fetch, or simply reveling in the simple pleasure of rolling in the grass. After a good play session, she's just as happy to be by your side, cuddling on the couch or in bed, truly wanting to be an integral part of the family. She has a particular fondness for Nerf footballs, excels at fetch, enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, and has a playful, albeit short-lived, relationship with stuffed animals. Maggie is also a fantastic swimmer and loves water activities, making her an ideal companion for lake trips and outdoor excursions.
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and an active family who wants their dog to be a true member of the household. She's looking for people to join on walks, play fetch with, splash in the water, and then relax with in the evenings.
Ongoing Health
Maggie Flowers is generally healthy and has undergone all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is spayed.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, down, wait, "go to your bed," and "in" for her crate. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She's also learned to wait at open doors until released. While she loves to greet new people with excitement, sometimes forgetting her size, consistent training will help her continue to refine her greetings. She would do best as the only dog in the home, as she's happiest when not interacting closely with other dogs. Cats are also not a good fit as they are too tempting for her to chase.
