Meet Kitty! She's a 4-year-old female Australian Shepherd mix. Kitty and her bonded sister, Wren, are looking for a special home together. They've had a tough past, which has made them timid and anxious, and they rely heavily on each other. Kitty has some vision impairment, but her sister Wren is always there to help guide her. These sweet girls need a patient and loving family to show them that the world can be a kind place. They may not be cuddly lap dogs, but with time and gentle encouragement, they might one day learn to trust and accept affection.

Training & Support

These girls are fearful of touch and interaction, and will need significant time and patience to build trust. They are dependent on each other and should be adopted together.

Wren and Kitty are located at our rescue facility at 242 George II HWY, Winnabow NC 28479. We are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary to visit.
