Meet Daquiri – A Sweet Soul in Need of Love

Daqi-shacky, a 4 ½ year old boy, is a true cuddle bug who is happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. He used to be a social butterfly, but after a tough experience with another dog, he's become shy and unsure around his canine companions. Daquiri is searching for a patient and loving family or individual who can help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, he's sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was.

Ongoing Health

Daqiuri's adoption fee covers all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Daquiri may be shy around other dogs, and his new family should be prepared to help him overcome this. Our team provides socialization and basic training, but continued training efforts will be needed to help him be his best self.

Transporation

Daqiuri is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He is transported via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated staff, and you can follow his journey on a private Facebook event page. Pick-up locations will be coordinated by our Adoption Coordinator. Adoption fees vary by location, with a $75 fee for pick-up at our Angleton, TX location.
