Pebbles, a 3.5-month-old female Australian Shepherd mix, is a bundle of playful energy and curiosity, ready to explore the world with her new family! She weighs about 18 pounds and will continue to grow. Pebbles was found abandoned with her sibling and an adult dog in a rural area outside of Houston. Thankfully, a kind animal advocate found them and reached out for help. One of our wonderful fosters opened their home and hearts to them, giving Pebbles the fresh start she deserves.
As an Australian Shepherd mix, Pebbles is intelligent, affectionate, and always eager for an adventure. She learns new things every day and greets life with a happy, playful spirit. She's currently in a foster home with other dogs and children (the youngest is 5 years old), and she's thriving! She loves to play with her canine pals, soak up attention, and then settle down for a well-deserved nap. Pebbles is already potty trained and has done well in her crate for short periods, setting her up for continued success.
Ideal Home
Pebbles would love an active family that will include her in adventures, playtime, and training. Because of her age and developmental needs, she should not be left alone for more than four hours during the workweek without someone at home. Puppies need frequent potty breaks, exercise, training, and interaction to help them grow into happy, healthy adults. An older, well-balanced dog in the home would make an excellent mentor and playmate, though it is not required. She has no known history with cats.

Training & Support
Like any young puppy, Pebbles is still learning how to be the best companion she can be. Her future family should be excited to invest the time and patience needed to teach her leash walking, basic obedience, household manners, and continued socialization. These early months are incredibly important in shaping a confident, well-adjusted adult dog.

Transportation
Pebbles is currently in Austin, Texas. Transportation is included in our adoption donation and will be arranged on the next available transport once approved.
