Lentil Lou is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 48 lbs, who brings joy and endless love into every interaction. She's a social butterfly, greeting everyone with enthusiasm, and absolutely adores other dogs. Lentil Lou is the perfect blend of a cuddly sweetheart and a playful goofball, guaranteed to fill your days with laughter and affection. She's as sweet as can be, with a face that could melt anyone's heart. Lentil Lou loves everyone she meets and is gentle with children, though she would be happiest in a home with kids 12 and older. She's dog-friendly and loves to play with other pups, but she's also content being the center of attention in a home without other pets.
Ideal Home
A semi-active family who enjoys neighborhood walks and is looking for a super affectionate companion. She would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can explore and relax in the sunshine. Lentil Lou would also make an amazing adventure buddy, happy to join you on outings to parks, nature trails, beaches, or even local breweries.
Ongoing Health
Lentil Lou is a rescue dog, and while we believe her to be approximately 1 year old, breed and age cannot be guaranteed without DNA testing.
Training & Support
Lentil Lou is a smart and eager-to-please pup who is treat-motivated. She already knows how to sit and is ready to learn more. She walks fairly nicely on a leash, with occasional pulling out of excitement, but responds well to gentle reminders. Lentil is also comfortable walking with other dogs. She is crate trained and potty trained. With patience, consistency, and treats, training with Lentil will be a fun and rewarding experience.
