Bessie

Meet Bessie! This sweet 18-week-old Pyrenees mix puppy is as adorable as she is endearing. Bessie is a social, smart, and goofy girl who is absolutely convinced that humans exist to admire her. She's a quick learner, eager to please, and already crate trained. Bessie is working on her puppy manners, which currently involves enthusiastic participation and a selective understanding of instructions! Whatever her mix, she's full of happy energy and is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Ideal Home

A home prepared for the joys and challenges of puppyhood. This includes understanding that puppies need frequent potty breaks, especially at this age (one hour per month of age). A home willing to commit to crate training until Bessie is at least one year old to prevent chewing. Continued socialization with varied positive experiences is highly encouraged.

Ongoing Health

Bessie is a healthy, growing puppy.

Training & Support

Bessie is crate trained and eager to please, but she's still learning general puppy manners. She requires patience and positive reinforcement. Raising a puppy is akin to raising a human toddler, and it takes at least a full year to see a calmer, well-adjusted dog. Commitment to training, socialization, and patience is key for a happy, well-behaved companion.

Transportation
