Wellsy has made incredible progress since coming into foster care and continues to blossom more every day. What started as a shy, unsure pup has transformed into a playful, affectionate, and surprisingly talkative girl with a big personality! With slow introductions and a little patience, Wellsy quickly warms up and lets her goofy side shine. She absolutely loves playing outside with our resident dog and has become quite the entertainer. Wellsy often acts like she has two left feet, bounding through the yard with oversized leaps, awkward landings, and impressive mid-air spins that keep us laughing. Watching her discover the joy of play has been one of the most rewarding parts of fostering her. While she enjoys a good zoomie session and outdoor adventures, Wellsy isn't go-go-go all day. Once playtime is over, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch for a nap or relax near her people. She has a wonderful balance of playful fun and laid-back companionship. She is both crate trained and potty trained, though she may occasionally need a little encouragement to head outside. Wellsy has done wonderfully with our 14-year-old child, but we have not yet had the opportunity to see how she does with younger children. Because of this, we recommend any introductions to children be done thoughtfully and at her pace. Wellsy is looking for a patient family willing to continue building her confidence while embracing her silly, loving personality.
