July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull weighing 59 pounds. She's a sweet and affectionate girl with an adorable smile and a heart full of love. July was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston, Texas, and has adjusted wonderfully to both apartment and house living. She's happiest when she's by your side, enjoying cuddles and back scratches.
July has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day and playtime with her toys, complete with the cutest zoomies! After her fun, she's ready to settle in for some quality cuddle time. She's been friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but she's also content being the only pet. July walks nicely on a leash with minimal pulling, rides well in the car, and shows no reaction to other dogs on walks. She's fully house-trained, comfortable in her crate, and generally non-destructive, though it's a good idea to keep shoes picked up to avoid any occasional slipper-snatching.

July would thrive in almost any home, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. While her gentle nature suggests she'd do well in a family environment, supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and exuberance.

July is eager to please and responds well to guidance. She would benefit from a little continued leash training. It's recommended to keep shoes picked up as she may occasionally sneak off with an unattended sandal.
