Prima Donna is a brindle beauty with a personality as dazzling as her name! This approximately 1-year-old, 58 lb pittie mix is a joyful whirlwind of affection and silliness. She's a total people-lover who believes everyone is her best friend and isn't shy about asking for pets, leaning in for cuddles, or dramatically napping across the couch. Prima has a way of making any day brighter with her infectious enthusiasm and goofy antics. She enjoys all sorts of toys and loves to play fetch or tug. Prima is a smart girl who responds well to correction, though sometimes her boundless excitement can make her forget her manners – think of her as a toddler in a wrinkle suit with unlimited enthusiasm! She already knows how to sit and is working on other commands, and she walks nicely on a gentle leader.
Ideal Home
Prima Donna would thrive in a home that appreciates her enthusiastic, "wrecking ball of affection" style of play. She would do best with older children, ideally around 15+, who are comfortable around big, bully-type dogs and can confidently set boundaries. She would also enjoy a playful, happy-go-lucky male canine companion who enjoys chase games and can tolerate her roughhousing. However, Prima does not need another dog and would also be content as the sole princess of attention in her home. A cat-free home is a must. A big backyard for zooming would be a dream come true for her!

Prima Donna is a rescue and her exact breed and age are a mystery. She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventative care as part of her adoption fee.
Training & Support
Prima Donna's boundless excitement sometimes leads to a temporary disconnect from impulse control, and she can be a bit mouthy when overstimulated, as she views everything as a game. She responds well to redirection and the word "no," and benefits greatly from structure, routine, and positive guidance. She walks well on a gentle leader and is continuing to improve her focus during walks.

Prima Donna is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations nationwide via our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A transport surcharge of $87 applies.
