Meet Talia, a sweet 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that's just waiting for time and patience to blossom. Talia is a shy and sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world. She prefers to have her space and may not enjoy being petted right away, but with a patient and understanding family, she can learn to trust and build meaningful bonds on her own terms. Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines, and her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate every small win.

Talia would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She's looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now.

Ongoing Health

Talia is fully vaccinated and spayed. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though occasional accidents may still happen as she adjusts.

Training & Support

Talia has excellent manners for grooming. Her new family will need to provide gentle encouragement and celebrate her progress as she learns to trust.
