Mia was born about August 20, 2025 and will likely weigh around 125 pounds. She's a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she's incredibly affectionate and loves to lean on her people. Mia came to us because her previous owner thought Great Danes were always laid-back, but puppies, even giant ones, have a lot of energy! She's doing wonderfully with other dogs, playing gently even with those much smaller than her. While she lived with cats, she was a bit too playful for their liking. Mia has been great with children, though her size means little ones might get accidentally bumped. She's house-trained, learned to use a doggy door quickly, and enjoys car rides. Mia also loves to play fetch and is gentle with her toys. She's a smart, sweet girl who will truly flourish in a home that understands the needs of giant breeds.
Ideal Home
A home with experience with giant breeds would be ideal for Mia. While she's been fine with children and cats, her size might be overwhelming for very small pets or very young children.
Ongoing Health
Mia is spayed and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She is microchipped and has been dewormed and treated for fleas.
Training & Support
Mia is house-trained and has learned to use a doggy door. She walks well on a leash, though this can be challenging for some owners as she grows. She is still learning to socialize confidently, so continued positive reinforcement will be beneficial.
