Tigger Tiggy is the absolute definition of a soul dog! He adores his people and will greet you with a huge, happy smile and a wagging tail. Tigger is incredibly loyal and will be your devoted best friend. He's also super smart, driven by his desire to please you. While he appreciates a good treat, his greatest motivation is the love he has for his family. If you're looking for a "ride or die" companion, Tigger Tiggy is your guy!

Tigger Tiggy is an approximately 4-year-old, 68 lb pittie mix. As with many rescues, his exact breed and age are a bit of a mystery!
Tigger is a social butterfly with other dogs, though he prefers to take his time getting to know them. He's currently living with several other dogs and does wonderfully. He particularly enjoys playing with a senior male dog, bringing out his "puppy" side! Tigger would do best with a patient female dog who can help him feel comfortable and confident. Once he's settled, you can expect to see them sunbathing and napping together. Tigger also met the resident cat, Biggie, appropriately and was very respectful. He didn't chase or bother Biggie, and Biggie seemed comfortable around him. We're happy to arrange a cat sleepover if you have a feline friend at home!
Tigger is a smart cookie who is eager to please! He already knows commands like "sit" and "down," is crate and potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, immediately slowing his pace if he feels any tension. His recall is fantastic – a call of his name (especially in a silly voice!) will have him coming running with his signature "happy paw" dance. Tigger has also been great with children aged 6-12.
Tigger would thrive in an apartment with an active family, but his ideal home would include a fenced-in backyard where he can explore, zoom, and enjoy all the wonderful smells. Above all, Tigger just wants to be by your side, whether you're relaxing at home, going for a walk, or heading out on an adventure. He'd even make a great work-from-home companion!
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced-in backyard would be ideal, but he can also do well in an apartment with a semi-active family and proper exercise.
