Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time
We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Meet Mia Thermopolis — a 3.5-year-old, spayed Shepherd/Pitbull mix currently being fostered in Houston, Texas.
She’s available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter.
She’s short-haired, dog-friendly, and full of goofy charm. While she may not be the actual Princess of Genovia, her foster family lovingly gave her the royal nickname because she truly rules the backyard with a stick in her mouth and a sparkle in her eye.
Mia’s favorite game is “chase me and try to get my stick,” and she takes it very seriously—any piece of wood quickly becomes her prized possession.
Mia is the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, and lots of playtime. She gets along well with other dogs and brings a joyful, silly energy wherever she goes. She’d love nothing more than a home with room to run and, ideally, a dedicated pile of branches just for her.
