Exodus is a velcro companion, where you go, he'll go! He'll enthusiastically check every ingredient in the kitchen to make sure it's still fresh and will gladly help with any trimmings or leftovers. He LOVES the bathtub! He'll make sure you won't slip and fall and always test the water to make sure it's the right temperature. Exodus won't go on your furniture unless you invite him up, but he does enjoy sunbathing on the carpet.
Ideal Home
Exodus enjoys going on walks and is learning leash manners; he's a puller but won't overpower you. He can be a bit protective, especially when meeting new people or visiting new places, but he usually mellows out with time. He likes other dogs and is a bit of a pushover, so cats might also have an easy time with him. He will let you know when he wants scratches and belly rubs.
Ongoing Health
Exodus experiences some anxiety when left alone, but his anxiety supplements help significantly.
Training & Support
Exodus is house-broken and knows how to use a potty pad if needed. If no pads are available, the bathtub works for him too! He's trained to "go" once a day and will be very vocal about his needs, usually preferring mornings. Be prepared for a significant cleanup – he averages three bags in total per "outing." Exodus does okay during car rides but can be anxious, sometimes jumping from seat to seat and occasionally trying to "help" drive. He enjoys squeaky toys, but only to hold, not to chew. You can trigger his play mode by patting his chin a couple of times. Exodus is very well-behaved but might have an interest in your shoes – though he might have been framed by one of his former roommates!
