Meet Maxx! This handsome and energetic one-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix is ready to bring his loyal and playful personality to a forever home. Weighing around 98 pounds, Maxx has a unique look and a spirit to match.

Maxx is a dog with character! He loves plush toys and squeakers, and he's even known to enjoy a good game of basketball. He's an independent companion who appreciates his own space, but he's always ready to lend a helping paw, whether it's pushing open doors or ringing the doorbell. His most endearing trait is the warm, cuddly welcome he gives when his people return home.

Ideal Home

Maxx is looking for an active, patient family who can provide him with the love and structure he needs to truly thrive. He has been good with older children and shows a playful curiosity toward other dogs on walks.

Ongoing Health

Maxx is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Maxx has a fantastic foundation thanks to his foster family. He is house-trained, crate-trained (and prefers to sleep in his crate even with the door wide open), and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'stop.' He loves his walks and is making great progress on leash manners, though he will do best with a confident walker who can continue his training.
