Alabama - Crate/Leash/House Trained. Good w dogs & cats

Alabama is a handsome 6-year-old Heeler Mix who is searching for his forever hero. He was rescued with his littermates from euthanasia in mid-2025. Though he was initially shy, Alabama has blossomed and is now a confident, curious boy who loves to explore. He's fully vetted, leash, crate, and house-trained, and knows basic commands. Alabama is great with other dogs and has even lived with cats and house pigs without any issues. While he's not quite ready for couch cuddles just yet, he's ready to embark on a journey of love, patience, and deep rewards with his new family.

Ideal Home

Alabama would thrive in a home with teens and up, as he is still a work in progress. A fenced-in yard is highly recommended to give him space to roam and play safely.

Ongoing Health

Alabama is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and has been spayed/neutered. He is on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is already leash, crate, and house-trained and knows basic commands. He does well with other dogs and has been introduced to cats and house/pet pigs without issue. His adopters should be prepared to continue his journey with patience and love.
