Freddy (Humpty)

Freddy is not just a dog, he's an experience! This energetic and playful pup is a blend of Black Mouth Cur, Anatolian Shepherd, Catahoula, and Alabama Brown Dog, and he's still basically a puppy. Freddy has spent most of his life in boarding and is now ready to spread his wings and find his forever home where he can truly shine. He's fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Freddy's favorite game is fetch, and he'd make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys long walks and hikes, as he has a high energy level. He's also a smart boy who knows how to mind and will listen to someone who is alpha.

Ideal Home

Freddy would thrive in an active home with someone who can match his energy for daily walks and hikes. He's a big puppy who likes to mouth things, so a home without small children would be best, although he does like kids. He's also athletic and can jump a standard chain-link or low fence, so a 6-foot privacy fence is ideal, or a family committed to daily leash walks and adventures.

Freddy is fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on all preventative care.

Training & Support

Freddy has completed training and responds well to an alpha leader. He's had a week of one-on-one in-home training and would benefit from a family who can reinforce these skills. Because he's still a puppy, he enjoys mouthing, so consistent redirection will be key to his success.
