This handsome 8-year-old Boxer with a brown brindle coat and white accents is a joyful whirlwind! Simba approaches life with delightful curiosity, whether it's a new toy or an interesting sound. He's wonderfully food-motivated, making snack time his favorite event and a great opportunity for learning. Simba is looking for a loving new home after his devoted pet parent passed away.
Despite his 97-pound frame, Simba is a true lap dog at heart and loves to lean into his people for cuddles, often forgetting about personal space. He sleeps peacefully when left alone, enjoys chew toys, and lights up for walks and car rides! Simba is very friendly with other dogs and has lived harmoniously with a canine companion named Sophie, bringing playful and easygoing energy. He hasn't spent time with cats, but his gentle, social nature suggests he might be open to new friendships with a thoughtful introduction. Simba is affectionate and patient with children, though his enthusiasm can be a bit bouncy for smaller kids, so guidance and supervision will help everyone feel comfortable. He can be a little timid in new situations and may pause before warming up to unfamiliar people, but once he feels secure, his sweet and content personality shines.
