Enzo is an old soul with the sweetest disposition and a deep desire for connection with humans. He has come so far since entering our care, having been rescued from a life on his own with very little human contact as a young puppy. Enzo trusts and loves other dogs, and he is learning that not all humans wish to cause harm. He has formed a strong bond with his foster family, including adults and children, and trusts them completely. Despite being in a new environment and experiencing many new things, Enzo has been wonderfully sweet and patient. He initially disliked leashes, but with consistent daily walks, he now enjoys them and walks with his tail held high. Enzo would be thrilled to have a canine companion in his new home. Don't let his pictures fool you; he's a petite guy at only 40lbs.
Ideal Home
Enzo would thrive in a patient home that will give him the time he needs to adjust. He would love to have a canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Enzo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. He has tested heartworm negative and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Enzo is learning about leash walking and is now enjoying his daily walks. As a young dog, he may have occasional accidents, chew on inappropriate items, and exhibit other youthful behaviors. We are happy to offer guidance if any puppy-related challenges arise.
