Lola

Meet Lola! This sweet girl was found on the highway between La Cruz and Punta Mita in Mexico and bravely fought through ehrlichia and mange. Today, she's thriving and ready for a loving home to call her own. Lola has been with us for over three years and truly deserves more attention and a chance at family life. She's a loving companion with a calm heart, and we know she'll blossom once she finds her forever family. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a big heart, Lola is your girl!

Ideal Home

Lola would do best with teens or adults, as quick movements from small children can scare her. She enjoys the company of other dogs and prefers to be the alpha. An active person who loves adventures would be a perfect match for her!

Ongoing Health

Lola has made a full recovery from ehrlichia and mange.

Training & Support

Lola can get stressed in the shelter environment and may guard her toys. She walks okay on a leash but often prefers receiving attention over walking. Guidance and patience will help her adjust and thrive in her new home.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta to their new homes in the US and Canada. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during the summer months, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many adoptions during the summer with volunteers assisting with transport to the border.
