Chloe is a sweet 6-year-old, 6 lb Chihuahua mix with a whole lot of love to give! She's a bit on the timid side and can be skittish, especially in new situations or with loud noises. Chloe doesn't enjoy walks and finds them quite scary, preferring the safety and comfort of her own yard. She's house-trained and does well with a routine, and is also accustomed to using pee pads. Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Ideal Home
Chloe needs a home where she can feel secure and gradually come out of her shell. A single-family home with a securely fenced yard is a must, as she needs a safe space to explore without the stress of walks. Because she can be a trip hazard, a home without individuals with mobility issues would be best. Chloe can be a bit bossy with cats, so a home without them is preferred, though a very dog-savvy cat might be considered. She also does best with other small dogs, and we are requiring another dog in the home to help her adjust to her new surroundings. While she can be nervous around larger dogs, older children who understand her need for quiet and time to adjust should be fine.

Chloe is up-to-date on vaccinations and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Chloe is not leash-trained, as she strongly prefers not to go on walks. A consistent routine will help with her potty habits. Patience and understanding will be key as she adjusts to her new home and family.
