Peanut

Peanut is a handsome 3-year-old, 21lb Dachshund mix with a striking black and white coat. He's a sweet boy who enjoys playing with toys and will even fetch a few times! Unfortunately, Peanut's past lack of socialization has made him nervous around new people. He is looking for a patient and understanding family to help him blossom.

Ideal Home

Peanut would do best in a home without small children. We are unsure about his compatibility with cats. He does well with other dogs and is best suited to live with a female dog, as he can be dominant with other males. A completely fenced yard is a must for Peanut's safety and enjoyment.

Ongoing Health

Peanut is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Due to his lack of socialization, Peanut can be nervous when meeting new people. He will need a patient owner who can help him build confidence and learn to trust.
