Willie

Willie is a friendly, affectionate "people person boy" who arrived as a stray on June 29, 2026. He is an 8-year-old, 48.8lb brown brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier mix. Willie has been non-reactive to other dogs at the shelter and appears house-trained. He follows commands well, often sitting for treats automatically, and cooperates during handling, allowing his teeth and feet to be examined and enjoying belly rubs. He has a slight underbite that's visible when he waits for treats, which makes him even more adorable!

Ideal Home

Willie is an affectionate boy who leans in for snuggles and pets. He is also high-energy and loves "zoomies" and toy play.

Ongoing Health

Willie has been neutered.

Training & Support

While generally good on a leash, Willie may occasionally pull. He can be "grabby" when taking treats or toys from hands and tends to eat quickly. He has shown no signs of resource guarding with his food bowl or toys.
