Meet Gucci! This handsome black Lab has a resilient spirit and plenty of goofy puppy energy. After being abandoned in New Mexico, he was brought to Texas and is now waiting for his second chance at a loving forever home. Gucci is a "work in progress" with a heart as big as Texas, and he's busy saving lives every day while he waits for his family!
Gucci is still a young pup at heart and has that classic Lab enthusiasm. He's looking for a family who will commit to teaching him some basic manners and training. He's incredibly eager to please and highly motivated by toys and treats, making training a fun and rewarding bonding experience.
Ideal Home
Gucci would thrive with an active individual, couple, or family who loves a good game of fetch and is ready to guide a smart, loving dog through his teenage-at-heart phase.
Ongoing Health
Gucci has been vetted, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Gucci is a "work in progress" and will benefit from ongoing training. He is eager to please and highly motivated by toys and treats, which will make training a rewarding experience. He has been socialized through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and efforts have been made to work on leash training and basic commands. Adoptive families should be understanding and committed to continued training.

Transportation
Gucci is located in Texas and is available for transportation to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. Transport to AZ is coming soon. Adoption and transportation fees range from $100-500, with private custom transport routes available upon request. Texas adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for in-state transportation. Animals are transported in air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook Event page. Your Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location. For pick-ups at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting.
