Andy is a very unique, petite, and spicy young male terrier mix who is incredibly affectionate and sweet once he warms up and trusts his people. He requires a devoted and experienced adopter who can help teach him what it really means to be a family pet, showing him love, patience, and respecting his boundaries. Andy is very fearful and can be reactive when being placed in a cage or pen, which clearly triggers something from his past. With the right adopter, trust, and confidence-building, he has shown his sweet and loving personality. He is skeptical of certain new people and tends to open up and love on women quicker than men. He’s under 15 lbs and just wants to cuddle. He seems to show some fear reactivity with certain dogs, specifically larger ones, but has shown that he gets along well with most, especially smaller and submissive dogs.
