Meet Kratos, a gentle, goofy senior boy with a heart as big as his paws! At 12 years old, he's looking for a loving, peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort, preferably as the king of his castle. Kratos loves life's simple joys: carrying around his favorite orange Chuck It ball, playing tug-of-war, relaxing on beach days, enjoying tasty treats, and settling in for cozy naps. Despite his size, he's a total softie who thrives on affection and a calm, steady environment. He's perfect for someone looking for a loyal, mellow companion who still has a playful spark. Kratos has decided that in his older age, he'd much prefer to be your one and only and is not a fan of sharing his space with other dogs or cats.
Ideal Home
Kratos would thrive in a home where he can be the sole focus of attention, with no other dogs or cats. He needs a calm and steady environment where he can relax and soak up all the love. Children 12 years and older are welcome.
Ongoing Health
Kratos is hard of hearing and occasionally gets ear infections, which are typically resolved with a quick round of antibiotics. He takes joint supplements and eats senior food to stay comfortable. He also takes medication to support anxiety and help with stress-related behaviors, though it's hoped he may not need this long-term once settled in a loving home. A generous donor has committed to covering all of Kratos' current medications for life, including heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
While not explicitly mentioned, Kratos requires a Martingale collar.
