Murphy

Meet Murphy! Murphy is a Pittie mix, estimated to be around 2-3 years old. He arrived as an unclaimed stray in January 2025. While he previously lived with children and did well over time, he was returned because he wasn't doing well with men in the home or male visitors. Murphy would thrive best in a female-only home. He's a very friendly boy who enjoys walks and exploring the yard independently. He also loves playing with neighboring dogs through the fence! Murphy knows "sit" and enjoys affection. He previously lived with children and would do well with older children aged 10 and up. Murphy was housebroken in his previous home. He's a social butterfly with other canines and has done well in dog play groups with four other dogs. A meet and greet will be scheduled with any resident dogs to ensure a good match. Murphy has the potential to live with cats with proper introductions.

Murphy would thrive in a female-only home. He would do well with older children aged 10 and up.
