Valentino is a certified lover dude with a heart full of sunshine and "good vibes only" energy! This 2-year-old, 61 lb American Staffy/Boxer mix, believes every day is the best day ever. He bounces through life with a goofy boxer-style enthusiasm, a giant happy grin, and a love for carrying toys as if he's hosting his own party. Valentino brings immense joy wherever he goes with his playful, affectionate, silly, and big personality. He's the kind of dog that makes any house feel happier just by being in it. Ideal Home

Valentino's dream home includes a backyard for zooming, toy-carrying, sunbathing, and supervising gardening. He's very drawn to puddles and standing water, so he might be a water dog! He's semi-active and would love hikes, adventures, backyard playtime, and enrichment toys. Most importantly, he wants to be included in life with his people. After exercise, he's ready to be your oversized weighted blanket for couch cuddles.

Ongoing Health

Valentino is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, is spayed/neutered, and is current on flea prevention and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary. All of this is included in the adoption fee, along with a microchip with free lifetime registration and a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.

Training & Support

Valentino is crate trained, potty trained, and incredibly smart with a strong desire to please. He already knows commands like "sit" and is a quick learner, even confidently mastering an agility ramp after just one try! He loves toys and can entertain himself, but he is also very food motivated, which makes learning new things a joy. On leash, he walks well but can still pull out of excitement. He thrives with consistent structure, training, and positive outlets for his happy energy, benefiting from confident guidance and clear boundaries.

Transporation

Valentino is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
