Kamoku is a 14-year-old, 17 lb male Dachshund mix, and Kasumi is a 5-year-old, 38 lb (goal weight 22 lbs) female Cairn Terrier mix. These two sweethearts were cherished by their previous owner, who meticulously documented their lives with a decade's worth of holiday photo cards. Tragically, when their owner's health declined, no one in her life stepped forward to care for Kamoku and Kasumi. They were surrendered to the shelter with their precious memories. When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi cried inconsolably. They are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. When they're together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets and children.
