Kamoku & Kasumi

Meet Kamoku and Kasumi, a sweet bonded pair who were once the stars of their mom's holiday photo cards! For a decade, they were celebrated with festive pictures for every occasion. Sadly, when their mom's health declined, they found themselves surrendered to a shelter without any of their mom's loved ones stepping up to help. When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite and Kasumi was inconsolable, showing just how deep their bond runs. They truly need to stay together and are looking for a home where they can continue to share their lives. When together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets. Kamoku is a 14-year-old, 17 lb Dachshund mix, and Kasumi is a 5-year-old, 38 lb Cairn Terrier mix who is working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.

Ideal Home

Kamoku and Kasumi are described as mellow and affectionate with people and coexist calmly with other pets. They are good with kids and cats.

Kasumi is currently overweight and working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.
