About Riley

Meet Riley! This sweet, 4-year-old Hound mix has been winning hearts since the moment she arrived. Riley came to us after an incident involving a smaller dog, but with people, she has been nothing but gentle, loving, and eager to connect. She truly doesn't thrive in a shelter environment, and we're hoping she finds her forever home soon.

When Riley first arrived, she was nervous and didn't want to come out of her room. With patience, routine, and kindness, she slowly opened up. Now, she greets us each day with a wagging tail, playful energy, and the cuddliest personality you could ask for. She truly blossoms when she feels safe.

Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in a home without cats and without children under 12. She has been dog-tested and did well with a calm dog her size, but she's not a match for high-energy dogs.

Ongoing Health

Riley is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Riley has made great progress with her confidence and behavior since arriving at the shelter. She is house-trained.
