Meet Miss Midna, a delightful 2-year-old who is the epitome of a Black Lab mix! She wakes up every day with infectious enthusiasm, ready to embrace life with happy tail wags, playful zoomies, and an unwavering love for her people. Midna is a bouncy, silly, and affectionate girl who truly believes every day is the best day ever. Her favorite activities include seeking attention, toy obsessions, and, of course, experiencing the pure bliss of a good booty scratch. When you hit just the right spot, her back end powers down into a hilarious squat, and her back legs kick with pure joy – it’s her personal reward system for a job well done!
Ideal Home
Midna would thrive in a home with a nice yard where she can happily zoom around and play with her beloved toys. Apartment living is likely not ideal as she is an active girl who enjoys having space to roam and express herself. She would be best suited for a home with older children due to her playful and sometimes jumpy nature when excited. Midna is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Midna is a healthy girl. All vetting, including DAPP vaccines, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, has been completed. She has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Midna can get a little jumpy when she's excited to see people, a common trait for enthusiastic dogs. She has lived successfully with multiple dogs in her foster home, showing a sweet, social, and respectful demeanor. Her ideal dog companions would be those who match her gentle, happy-go-lucky personality. She is also a skilled communicator, giving fair corrections when other dogs become too much.

Transportation
Midna is currently located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
