Meet Luna! This sweet 4½-year-old, 20 lb Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel mix is looking for her forever home after being rescued from a hoarding situation in CA. Despite her past, Luna has blossomed in foster care and is learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She's a gentle soul who can be a little shy initially, but she quickly forms strong bonds with her people. Once comfortable, Luna loves spending time with her humans, enjoying walks, exploring the world of scents, and snuggling on the couch.

Ideal Home

Luna would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where her humans understand shy dogs and can help her continue to build confidence at her own pace. She would do best in a home where she isn't left alone for long periods due to potential separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Luna is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Luna is food-motivated and has shown progress with basic commands like "sit" and "come," though consistency is still a work in progress. She's doing well with potty training when outside her crate and willingly enters her kennel. Enrichment activities like frozen treats have been helpful in managing her separation anxiety.
