Tito Mellon Hugo Hero (or Tito for short) is a 1 yr-old (4/27), English Foxhound mix, who weighs 50 pounds (as of 2/4/26). This darling pup left that unpredictable stray life in Tennessee behind and eventually found his way to New England!

This handsome boy has come a long way and recently completed a 2-week training program where he mastered Sit, Stay, Heel, Come, Wait, and Place. Hes fully crate trained and prefers a covered 42 crate at night.

Tito is affectionate, eager to please, loves his toys and chews, and never turns down a good bum scratch from his favorite people.

Tito is looking for a home where he can be the star of the show. He does best as an only pet (no cats or other dogs) and would thrive with a family that appreciates his training, structure, and goofy personality. While he can walk past other dogs and responds well to corrections, he has made it clear he'd rather not share his home with them.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
