Valentina is a beautiful 2-year-old Lab mix who is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all her preventative care. She’s a bright, affectionate girl who truly shines when she’s spending one-on-one time with her person. In a calm, structured environment, her sweet and loyal personality really comes through, making her a wonderful companion.
She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, currently comfortable relaxing in her crate with the door open and able to settle in with it closed again once she’s reintroduced. Valentina already has a great foundation of skills and is incredibly intelligent. She knows many commands like "on/off," "paw," "high five," and even "time to go to sleep," which sends her to her bed. She’s eager to learn and thrives with consistency and clear guidance.
Valentina loves to stay active and engaged. Walks, fetch, and tug of war are some of her favorite ways to bond and burn energy. She can pull on the leash and gets a little jumpy when greeting people, but these are very manageable behaviors that will improve with ongoing training and routine. With the right balance of physical and mental stimulation, she settles beautifully.
She has done alright with other dogs, but will need dogs who respect her space and boundaries. Valentina simply prefers polite interactions and may need guidance around overly forward dogs. She can also be a bit unsure with new people and may bark when she feels nervous, but with slow, controlled introductions, she builds confidence and learns to feel safe.
Ideal Home
Valentina would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home where she can have structure, patience, and consistency. She’s a sensitive, devoted dog who bonds deeply with her person and will flourish with someone committed to helping her continue to grow.
