Petey

Petey is a 10-year-old gentleman who has truly seen it all. He originally came to us in late 2018 when he was just 3 years old. The shelters were so full, he was actually on the euthanasia list for space. Thankfully, he was moved to our trainers and received dedicated attention, blossoming into an incredibly well-behaved dog. After two wonderful years with his foster family, he was adopted in 2020. Sadly, just a few months ago, Petey found himself back in our care under unfortunate circumstances. We learned that his family had left him behind, and despite our best efforts to reunite them, it became clear they were not actively seeking his return. We are committed to our animals for life, and we will not let this sweet senior fend for himself. Petey is a special case, and while finding a home for a senior dog can be challenging, we are hopeful that the right person will see the incredible love and loyalty he has to offer.

Petey would thrive in a calm and loving home. Given his age and past experiences, a quiet environment where he can relax and be cherished would be ideal.

Petey is a 10-year-old senior dog. While he is currently healthy, potential adopters should be prepared for the standard health considerations that come with age.

Training & Support

Petey is a well-behaved dog thanks to dedicated training. He is looking for a patient and understanding family who will continue to provide him with a stable and loving environment.
