Baumgart (Beau)

Baumgart, or Beau as he's affectionately known, is an absolute goober and one of the sweetest dogs you could meet. He's a giant lovable boy who wants to be near his people at all times. Beau is the king of matching energy: ready for walks? He's in. Want to play fetch? Absolutely. Need a nap buddy? He has that covered too. He plays very well with other dogs and has a decent recall, though sometimes the allure of an interesting sniff or pee spot can momentarily distract him. Honestly, if he could fit in your lap, he'd happily stay there all day long. He's goofy, loyal, affectionate, and so ready to finally be somebody's goodest boy!

Ideal Home

Beau warms up quickly to new people, though he can be a little nervous initially. Once he realizes someone wants to love on him, he becomes their best friend. We are unsure how he does with cats.

Ongoing Health

Beau needs extra feedings as he slowly gains back weight, but he is already looking healthier and happier every day.

Training & Support

Beau does resource guard a bit, but we believe with time and patience, this can be managed. He is still working on his house training, and we are unsure of his current status.
