Everyone asks "what's his story" when we go out. Honestly, not a clue. I'm guessing he was in an overfilled shelter and wasn't claimed and was there too long and he hit the euthanasia list. It's sad and short...BUT... Just in time, someone noticed the potential in this spirited black and white boxer mix and started him on his journey of a second chance. Tate is a house-broken, crate-trained boy who loves car rides. He has ventured out to Cabelas, a pup-friendly patio, Tractor Supply, and a pet spa event, making friends everywhere he goes and receiving compliments on his wonderful manners. Tate is a "good boy" who is treat-motivated, eager to learn, and quick to sit. He's mastered "working from home" on his own blanket with chew bones, but he does expect breaks and plenty of kibble. He stretches his neck to show off his chin freckles when you pet him. Tate is comfortable on the leash and enjoys walks. He loves fetch, especially the kind where he brings the toy back, and enjoys gnawing on chew bones. Tate has a big voice and a lot of enthusiasm when playing with his canine foster brothers, and after slow introductions, he learned that playing with them was fun. He's a big personality in a medium-sized package!
