Freckles, wiggles, and a happy hop in her step – that's our Pippi Longstocking! This petite, bright-eyed girl is full of spunky sweetness and sees the world as her personal playground. Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs around 37 lbs. While her exact breed mix is a guess, she has the happy energy of a medium-sized dog with a heart wide open, ready to share her joy.
On leash, Pippi walks with a pleasant pace and responds well to guidance. When she receives affection, she gets almost giddy with enthusiasm, her wiggles turning into pure, unadulterated delight that's sure to make you giggle.
Pippi approaches other dogs with friendly confidence. She enjoys playing with high-energy, confident companions, and has done best with confident females and males. She's not afraid to move on if the energy isn't right. While her play style can be bold, she thrives with clear boundaries and dogs who can advocate for themselves. She's not the best match for a dog that is overly submissive or lacks confidence in setting boundaries. Her response to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we'd love for her to go to a home with a cat or two to get a better understanding of her interactions. Pippi is crate-trained and walks into her crate without fuss!
Ideal Home
Pippi will thrive with an active family who enjoys movement, play, and a dog who greets each day as a celebration. She would ideally have a canine housemate who is confident and can set boundaries.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
