Meet Alice! She's a sweet girl who was surrendered with her brother and was facing euthanasia, but thankfully, her life was saved! Alice is estimated to be between 1 to 14 months old and is up to date on all her vaccines. She's a smart cookie and comes well on command, even mastering a sit! We're working on "stay," but she gets a little wiggly with excitement – her tail wags like a happy whip when she's feeling good! Her playful spirit really shines when she's with her foster siblings, a Shepherd, a Bully, and a Pug. They've been showing her the ropes of outdoor fun, including pottying outside and even a first dip in the pool!
Ideal Home
Alice needs a patient and understanding home where she can take her time to adjust. She's been through a lot and is understandably a bit fearful of new people. You'll need to let her approach you on her own terms. She may growl or bark when she's unsure, but rest assured, there is absolutely no aggression; she just needs to feel safe. Once she's comfortable, she'll be your devoted shadow, showering you with love.
Ongoing Health
Alice is up to date on all her vaccinations.
Training & Support
Alice is still learning about the world! She was primarily kept in a crate and then lived in a car, so she's new to many everyday experiences. We are actively working on potty training as she's never been outside for potty breaks before. She's also learning to be comfortable with collars and leashes, which she's finding a bit scary but is making progress with daily wear. She's a quick learner and loves to please, so with consistent positive reinforcement, she'll continue to blossom.
