ANNDALINA

Anndalina is a sweet 9 1/2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a beautiful black and white coat. She came to us as an emergency surrender after a distressing incident where she was trying to chew her tail. Thankfully, we were able to intervene quickly, and she underwent surgery to amputate her tail to prevent infection. Now, she's recovering and ready to find a patient and understanding home. Anndalina is part of our special TLC program, which means her adopters will receive ongoing support, including visits with a professional behaviorist.

Ideal Home

Anndalina would do best in a quiet, child-free home. She can be a bit sensitive to noise and activity, so an apartment is not suitable for her. She needs a securely fenced yard. While she can get along with some dogs, she's not a fan of cats.

Ongoing Health

Anndalina's tail has been amputated due to a previous injury, and she has fully recovered from the surgery.

Training & Support

Anndalina is working on her potty training basics. She can be a bit nervous in new situations and needs time to adjust and feel comfortable. Once she bonds with her people, she is very affectionate. A quiet household with a single person or a couple would be ideal, as she can get overwhelmed by too many visitors. Patience and understanding will be key to helping her settle in.
