PIPER

Piper is a beautiful 6-year-old German Shepherd, weighing around 60 pounds. She's past the puppy stage and is ready for the best years of her life with a loving family. Piper is the perfect blend of playful, loyal, and affectionate. She'll happily chase a ball in the yard and then settle down close to her favorite people.

Sadly, Piper was abandoned by her previous family, but she hasn't lost faith in love. She wakes up each day hoping her forever family is out there. Piper is fully vaccinated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and does great with children. She might be a little shy when meeting new people and may put on a tough front initially, but beneath that exterior is a gentle soul yearning for safety and love. Her absolute favorite things include playing fetch, carrying her beloved gingerbread toy, and spending quality time with her humans. She doesn't ask for much – just a comfy bed, some toys, and a promise to never be left behind again.

Ideal Home

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a canine companion her size or larger.
