Hoot

Meet Hoot! This fun-loving, active young pup is eager to find his forever family. Hoot absolutely adores outdoor playtime and would be thrilled to have a canine companion to romp around with. He settles in nicely at night and has been an accident-free, well-behaved pup in his foster home, even earning free-roam privileges! Hoot walks well on a leash and is diligently working on his basic obedience. He's good with other dogs and is curious about cats. While he can be a little shy and skittish when approached too quickly, a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and consistency will be key to helping him gain confidence.

Ideal Home

A home with a secure fenced yard and continued leash or harness use in public will help Hoot feel safe as he continues gaining confidence. He would also love a playful canine friend.

Ongoing Health

All of Hoot's vaccinations are current, he has been dewormed, and is microchipped. He has also been tested for heartworms and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam by a veterinarian will be completed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Hoot is beginning his basic obedience training and walks well on a leash. He may be slightly stand-offish while building trust and needs a patient adopter.

Transporation

Hoot is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. He is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
