Dragonfly

Meet Dragonfly! This gorgeous 1-year-old Husky mix has truly blossomed and is ready to find her forever home. She arrived shy but has bloomed in a loving foster home, revealing a smart, well-mannered, and housetrained girl. Dragonfly is a natural at walking on a leash, often heeling without prompting, and is deeply attached to her person. She's obsessed with her ball – she can even throw it for herself – and her recent zoomies are a delight to watch! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play. While initially curious about cats, she respects redirection and leaves them be when asked. She was also initially a bit wary of her foster's husband but has made incredible progress and now seeks him out for belly rubs. Dragonfly is eager to find a family who will cherish her and earn her forever adoration.

Ideal Home

Dragonfly would thrive in a home with teenagers and older children. She is scared of young children and would prefer a quieter environment. She also prefers her own space during mealtimes.

Ongoing Health

Dragonfly has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Dragonfly is housetrained and well-mannered. She is learning to respect cats' space when redirected. She has made excellent progress with a previously fearful interaction with a male adult.

Transportation

Dragonfly is located in South Carolina. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel for pickup. Virtual or local meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
