Hercules

Meet Hercules! This sweet, loving, and affectionate cattle dog mix has been with us for quite some time. He's a smart boy who, true to his breed, needs plenty of exercise and a daily purpose to thrive. Unfortunately, it's hard to provide that in a shelter environment, and he's developed some anxiety due to his extended kennel stay. A professional trainer has evaluated Hercules and found him to be a great dog with no aggression, but he does have boundaries and triggers that need to be respected and handled with care. Above all, he needs an outlet for his energy.

Ideal Home

Hercules would do best in a home with adopters who are experienced with herding breeds and understand dogs with anxiety. He needs an active family that can provide him with daily exercise, a calm and reassuring environment, and a deep respect for his individuality and boundaries.
