Marshmellow

Marshmellow is an approximately 8-12 month old, neutered male mixed breed who is about 40-45 pounds. He appears to be a sturdy medium-sized dog, and we guess he might be a Shepherd/Husky mix. Marshmellow arrived at our rescue with his sibling, Sweet Potato, after being saved from euthanasia on a South Dakota Reservation. He's a smart boy who loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, enjoying both lively play sessions and relaxing cuddles.

Ideal Home

Marshmellow loves people and warms up quickly after an initial shy period. He's more comfortable with children but needs a little reminding not to jump, though he's improving daily. He is reactive to cats and would do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Marshmellow has been vet checked, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, and is neutered. He is current on flea/tick, heartworm, and deworming preventatives.

Training & Support

Marshmellow is kennel trained and mostly house trained. He is working hard on learning basic obedience commands and leash walking skills. He has a higher energy level and enjoys a good walk and play session before settling down for cuddles.
