A little about them
Nibs is a joyful, brave, and comical large Weimaraner mix who loves people, dogs, playtime, belly rubs, and relaxing naps. This sweet, derpy boy enjoys being near his people and may greet new introductions cautiously before offering a playful bow, leaning in for pets, or sitting at your feet.
Ideal Home
Nibs loves dogs and generally does well with children, though his deafness means he can be startled easily. He can be curious around cats but may run away if they show aggression. Toddlers should be supervised because Nibs may accidentally knock them down when startled.
Ongoing Health
Nibs appears to be deaf and relies on smell, sight, body language, and hand signs. He is neutered and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Nibs is house-trained and has learned hand signs for going to a location, coming to his person, sitting, lying down, and calming with “no.” He is smart, learns quickly, and redirects well to hard chews such as Nylabones or Himalayan cheese. He enjoys toys and fetch, though he may want to play tug-of-war or hide the toy afterward. His tendency to hump blankets or other dogs has become much less frequent and redirects easily.
