Nibs

Nibs is a happy, joyful, and debonair puppy, possibly the bravest Lost Boy. He was named after Nibs, a Lost Boy from Peter Pan. Nibs seems to be deaf, and being a deaf young puppy can be scary, but Nibs is very brave about it. He is a big, derpy, and comical boy. You will need to watch out for his big feet because he will step right on yours! Nibs will body lean for pets, and his tail wags will show you how happy he is. He wants to be friends and loved by everyone!

Ideal Home

Nibs loves dogs and is curious about cats, though he will run scared if he senses aggression from them. He does well with children, but toddlers can be unpredictable. Due to his deafness, a small child could potentially startle him, causing him to knock them down out of fear, but he adapts quickly and easily.

Ongoing Health

Nibs is deaf.

Training & Support

Nibs is super smart and a quick learner, having already learned hand signs for "go," "come," "sit," "lay down," and "no." He can get overly excited and tries to hump things, mainly blankets or other dogs, but redirects easily with a tap and the sign for "no." This behavior has become much rarer. He loves to play and fetches, but often wants to play tug-of-war upon return or hides the toy. He redirects well with hard chews like Nylabones or Himalayan cheese.
